Saturday 1 June at Southfields Jubilee Centre. A talk about the special Royal Marine Commando group, 30 Assault Unit (or 30AU) who were stationed in Littlehampton in the build up to D day in 1944. Presented by Dave Roberts of 30AU /Commando History Group this talk will explore 30 AU’s time in Littlehampton, the unit’s involvement in D Day and their link to Ian Fleming and the Bond novels.
