A taxidermy model of a Moorhen, mounted onto a cork base. The bird is standing and looking straight ahead, wings and beak closed. There two hand written labels adhered to the underside of the base, and a typed label stapled to the side at the back of the base, which reads: 'GUERMONPREZ COLLECTION'. The remains of the orginal label are adhered to the top of the base, towards the back right hand corner.
