Littlehampton in Lockdown

COVID-19 Museum Archive Project

2020 has been a year that will be remembered in History. Here at the Museum we want to preserve a record of how the Town responded to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We are looking for submissions from the public which will take their place in the Museum and will be kept as an archive for years to come.

What can I donate?

We would like to find objects from the list below but we are also very open to suggestions. Sadly we cannot accept everything and a final list of items will be approved by our Governing Body before being entered into the Museum.

  • Artwork - from the rainbows displayed in windows to artwork celebrating the NHS we would love to see your lockdown creations (Don't for get you can also enter these into our OPEN art exhibition).
  • Written content. This might be diary entries, poetry or letters sent to friends and family during the Lockdown.
  • Photographs of the Town during Lockdown.
  • Objects used during the lockdown.

How do i submit an object?

Please email a photograph  or scan of your object, document or photograph along with the form below to the Museum at museum@littlehampton-tc.gov.uk
